Pursuit of happiness...

Theres never going to be a knock on the door, there will never be a note on your car. There will never be flowers, balloons and candy waiting at your job for you. But why? Because that type of thing only happens in the movies...Love is not a fairytale. Its real-life. No man is going to whisk you away on a white horse, because nowadays you gotta really know how to ride a horse...lol... We all wish, hope and dream that life will be different for us, and the people around us can have all the problems, and they can come to us for the answers. Life doesnt work that way, God doesnt work that way. We sit and look at the people who we think are in love, and we think they have it altogether. Truth is, we dont know how long it takes him to get home, or you dont know who she just got done sending an email or a text to. You just assume that everything is hugs and kisses over there. Love is perfect, but people arent, and because we arent we make it imperfect. We bring the judgement, the paranoia, the cheating, the lies, the tears, the harsh words. We bring it in and mix it with love and then it all becomes a concoction of negativity only to end terribly. So many people go to look for love, hoping that it will make them happy. When youre looking for something else or someone to make you happy, you will fail miserably everytime. You must first reach out to God, let him be your happiness with his blessings, grace and his mercy. Then you will see truse goodness of a real man...C.M.
