A perfect mindset in a messed up mind

I think as children we all set our minds on the most perfect of things. We paint pictures in our heads of what life will one day be for us...We get caught up wanting a nice family, with a nice house, and the white picket fence. You want to find the right person, the tall, dark and handsome type, or the coke-bottle shape woman who can rock a pair of nice sneakers and go running with you but can also put on a nice pair of heels and a hot dress and act like a lady. But somewhere along the lines, life happens. Life happens, and it doesnt happen for you like you always planned, but its happening to you. You grow older and realize life isnt a canvas, you cant just paint whatever you want, and it will be there. But rather now the tall, dark and handsome guy is now gone because he doesnt have time to help raise a child, because he isnt finished "living" yet. Or the coke bottle, jordan wearing angel you once met would rather be independent because she doesnt want someone who doesnt want to give her every bit of his attention. So now the white picket fence money has gone to a new, empty apartment to fund an empty life that started out as a perfect mindset. If anyone wouldve told you, youd chase after a man who'd continue to break your heart, would you still chase him? If someone wouldve told you, you'd lose the best girl you ever had because you wanted to make sure she was the best girl you ever had, would you still chase women to find out? Answer. Yes. You would, you'd do it all over again, because you had a perfet mindset, and when youre convinced that youre so perfect, youll do everything in your power to prove a person wrong, its just that your perfect mindet was in a messed up mind. No one is saying that your "perfect" life cannot be obtained, it can but it will either be a false perfection or a temporary happiness before youre burning candles and playing sad love songs in a dark room...In order to successfully obtain and sustain anything, your mind must be ready...you cant put on a perfect white suit or a perfect white dress with barbeque sauce from the chicken you had earlier all over your hands...it would never work. you'd have to clean your hands. In order to live a great life, pure and enjoyable...you'd have to clean your mind...a messed up mind would only create a messed up lifestyle...
